General Information

  1. ORGANISERS AND SCOPE OF THE FAIR

    The Lagos International Trade Fair is organized by the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The Fair which is staged with the support and co-operation of the Federal and State Governments covers all aspects of business and economic activities in Nigeria. It offers a unique exposition for manufacturers, suppliers, buyers and users of a wide range of goods and services as well as opportunities for investment and trade promotion.


  2. VENUE

    The Fair takeS place at the Lagos International Trade Fair Complex, Lagos-Badagry
    Expressway in Lagos, Nigeria with a total exhibition space of over 530,000m (53 Hectares)

  3. DATE

    The Fair normally stage from the first Friday to second Sunday in the month of November every year.

  4. OBJECTIVES OF THE FAIR

    The main objectives of the Fair are to:

    1. Promote revitalisation and diversification ofthe Nigerian economy;

    2. Promote Nigeria's non-oil exports;

    3. Promote accelerated development of commerce and industry;

    4. Promote Made-in-Nigeria products;

    5. Promote agriculture and agro-based industry;

    6. Spotlight the evolution of Nigeria's trade with the outside world;

    7. Direct attention to the role of private sector in the Nigerian economy; and

    8. Indicate prospects for foreign and local private investments in strategic areas.

  1. TARGET AUDIENCE

    It is anticipated that the Fair will attract over 1,500,000 visitors from within and outside the Country including businessmen, investors, consumers, top government officials and representatives of Nigeria’s important trading houses and those seeking joint-venture partnerships.

  2. PARTICIPATION IS OPEN TO

    1. Business Organisations in Nigeria;

    2. Overseas Organisations and Governments;

    3. ECOWAS Member States;

    4. Diplomatic Missions and Trade Representatives;

    5. Federal and State Government owned Companies;

    6. Agencies and Parastatals; and

    7. Research and Educational Institutions.

  3. WHY YOU SHOULD EXHIBIT

    1. Lagos is the gate-way and commercial nerve centre of Nigeria. With over 120 million people, Nigeria is the largest market in Africa. Lagos is the hub of Nigeria's business and economic activities as well as the main port of entry.

    2. The Fair is an important regular business development aimed at special audience including professionals, businessmen and investors.

    3. The Fair is for Nigerian enterprises seeking wider access to internal markets and international companies and investors seeking joint-venture partners and markets for intermediate and capital goods in Nigeria and the ECOWAS community.

  5. APPLICATION
    Exhibitors can apply online and make payment online they can also download the Application Form for participation or pick the Application Form at the Lagos Chamber Office located at 1, Idowu Taylor Street, Victoria Island, Lagos Nigeria. Application should be completed and returned with the appropriate fee to reach the Organiser or its officially appointed Agents on or before September 30.

    Application forms can also be obtained from all Nigerian Diplomatic and Consular Missions abroad, the Federal and State Ministries of Commerce and also at the Secretariats of all the Chambers of Commerce in Nigeria.

  6. PUBLICITY
    a) A special publicity programme will be mounted in collaboration with our Publicity Consultants and will include:
    • Press advertisements and editorial coverage;
    • Press releases, Press Conference and briefs;
    • Radio and TV interview and coverage;
    • Posters and visual materials;
    • Exhibition Catalogue
    • Exhibition Press Review and
    • Exhibition Press Supplement

    Exhibitors and Advertisers who wish to subscribe to any of the above should contact the Director Trade Promotion.

  7. CONSTRUCTION OF STANDS
    Exhibitors who construct stands using more space than the area allocated to them shall be surcharged for the additional space.
